Saints. They have Brees who is a great quarterback. Some people might say he had a career year last year but he did the same thing the previous year, even without Antonio Gates who was his go-to guy with the Chargers. Their running back combo of McAllister and Bush is one of the best in the league and their young receivers have another year of NFL experience so they should be better next year. Their defense is indeed a mess but they've already begun to address that during this off-season and they'll only get better after the draft.
The Steelers on the other hand have an extremely overrated Roethlisberger. I still think he just ran into a lot of luck, plus having Plaxico, Ward, and Randle El on the same team helped a lot. Their defense is better than the Saints, but they just lost Porter so their D will be a wreck for at least part of the season. Which is going to ruin their season since they don't really have a "reliable" offense to speak of, at least compared to the Saints anyway.

Between the Steelers & who? The Saints are a joke! Remember the brown paper bags & the "Ain'ts"? That wasn't too long ago. For the Steelers an 8-8 season is the worst while an 8-8 season for the Saints is reason to party for a month. The Steelers are better all around & in every department as well. Not even close------- GO STEELERS!!!

Your brother's crazy! Look at the histories of the two franchises! The Steelers win by a landslide. And if you want to compare last year's seasons, the Steelers beat the Saints 38-31.

I like the Saints more. By the way... you spelled "Pittsburgh" wrong. Why do I like the Saints more? They have an effective QB (named Drew Brees) and the player of the future, Reggie Bush. Plus, Deuce McAllister is a perennial Pro Bowler. There's always the emotional factor, with the Saints bouncing back from Hurricane Katrina to make the playoffs last year. They nearly got into the Super Bowl, finally losing to the Chicago Bears. Where were your Steelers during the playoffs? They were at home, watching.

Steelers...
The Saints defense is well... Let's say below average... However, the Steelers, as a team can play aggressively and get some sacks. Also, very consistent players like Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes will help Big Ben develope a lot...
The Saints lost Joe Horn, they still don't know if Brees is gonna perform well so the Steelers...

i believe the question is referring to which team is better as of right now. the answer is obviuosly the saints having superior talent on the roster and the steelers going down the drain since having the refs on their side in the super bowl against the hawks. in histoy though, the steelers have a better one then the saints having a championship or super bowl (no difference really).

of direction they have of venture to make the playoffs. yet as we talk's exhibiting did not help their reason. i think of the NFC South would be gained by means of the two Tampa or New Orleans. New Orleans definitely has a fantastically common time table in case you examine out it, while in comparison with some..........they only could get their offensive line healthful and that they're going to be returned interior the aggregate returned.

I'm beginning to think Roethlisberger is a one hit wonder. Ever since his motorcycle accident he hasn't been the same. They lost Porter but their defense is still pretty solid. I love the Saints, especially after they drafted Bush last year. I think Drew Brees is the perfect QB for their style of offense. I gotta go with the Saints...
