can you get pregnant on the depo shot? i had my first dose 2/28 and i have been bleeding lightly since 3/15. can i be pregnant? i feel like throwing up all the time and when i eat something i want to throw up but it wont come out. i had sex 24 hrs after i had the shot and many times after that with no protection... i also had a baby january 10th. help??? has this happend to you? should i go get tested??

Yes you can. ONLY abstinence is 100% effective against pregnancy.

Depo really screws with a female's system.

I'd consult your doctor.

If you just had a baby in January, and have only been on the shot since Feb, and have had numerous unprotected sex sessions...then yeah, I'm guessing you very well could be. Unfortunately your suppose to be a little careful for the first few months with any Birth control, because it's not 100% effective. So if you were having any kind of sex, it should've been protected, if you didn't want to get preggers. Your MD/gyno should've explained that to you! I would definately test, just to be on the safe side. GOOD LUCK!

well the shot is suppose to last three months, so you cant be because youre stil on it. 2/28-3/15 is only like a month and few days. well if you still want to test it just buy one of those sticks at walgreens and test. Have you felt this way when you first had your baby?
