As an unbiased Canadian, who's met a lot of nice Texans, by the way, I understand from other Americans that Texans have a reputation for bragging a lot and thinking that everything in their state is better than everywhere else, and that they seem to think that nothing worth looing at lies outside of Texas' borders.
George Bush is from Connecticut? There goes that state's reputation.

Because of Texas's over extwnsive use of the death penalty and harsh punishments.
George W. Bush was the governor of Texas before he came into office.
He's one of the worst presidents ever but, that's not why i don't like Texas.

I didn't know Texas has a bad rap. I would highly recommend that anyone that thinks Texas is bad should go to Texas and spend some time there, but be careful, you may want to stay.

There's nothing wrong with Texas even if President Bush had come from there. I think it's sad that people who don't like the President would put down a whole state for it. Those that don't like Clinton don't put down Arkansas because he came from there.
