The only way to lose virginity is with sex... penis in vagina. The use of a tampon may rip the hyman, but unless and until you actually have sexual intercourse, you are a virgin!

I don`t believe that a tampon could cause you to loose your virginity because it is different from the penis in length and in size. When having intercourse there will be more force because the man have to be pushing in and out ,therefore causing your vagina to expand whereas a tampon would just be placed just to absorb the menstrate with no force whatsoever and be removed just as easy.

The hymen is not a reliable indicator of virginity. The hymen can be broken any number of ways. The only way a girl loses her virginity is when she has intercourse for the first time.

No.it may rip the hymen but it doesn't matter. You are still considered a virgin until you have sex. Some women lost their hymens early in life becaause of sports or other non sex related reasons.

Yes it can tear the hymen. No, an intact hymen is not an indicator of virginity as once thought. There are many activities that can tear the hymen.
