the hair on my tummy is getting a bit darker and i think a bit more in quantity. I am entering my fourth month. I still don't know the baby's gender, could this be an indication of a certain gender?

it's not an indicator of anything....I have had it with my boys and my girl .... it's just hormones (wait til you get it on your face! YIKES!)

congrats and best wishes :)

No it's not an indication of gender just an indication your healthy and your hormones are strong--sorry the only way to tell the gender is to have medical tests done.

some people say that the more hair you grow and the darker it gets means its a boy but i don't know that for sure, my sister and i got preg at the same time and she didn't grow very much hair and hers was a girl but me on the other hand i grew a ton and it was dark by the time i had him i felt like a woolly mammoth, but it all went away in a week or so just don't shave it or it will grow in thicker and not all of it will go away!

Its really normal for you to notice your stomach getting hairy-er, just dont shave or wax it or it'll keep growing back worse even when you've had the baby and your hormones go back to normal!
Sorry, its not a way to determine sex of the baby... that I've heard of anyway. I've noticed it and I'm having a girl but my friend noticed it on her and she had a boy!

WIC is astounding. they're very pleasant and efficient. you may take instructions at WIC places of artwork on breastfeeding, newborn progression ect. they could also refer you to different places who grant low or no fee instructions. they grant you with WIC assessments. Mine are eggs, milk, bread, beans, juice, vegetables, cheese ect. you may purchase precisely what the verify says and especially parts. once you visit WIC they'll clarify each thing to you. Any question I have about my being pregnant i visit ask the WIC workers who're consistently more effective than keen to help. once you're pregnant your WIC assessments advance if you're breastfeeding. they'll grant formulation vouchers yet purely after the first month of your youngster's existence because they really opt for you to breastfeed. i respect WIC truthfully take advantage of their amenities :P solid success and congrats

This is a normal side effect of pregnancy. It is very, very typical to develop hair on stomach, especially below your bellybutton and for the skin to darken.

However, it has nothing to do with sex of your child.

I had the same thing when I was pregnant with my son, and am going through the same thing with my daughter (current pregnancy). Pregnancy changes everything including how hair grows.

The hair on my belly has gotten longer, but it is extremely blonde and soft. My husband thinks it looks like a peach. Good luck and congrats!
