Hi :)

The point of it all is to live a life of exuberance, joy, excitement, and wonder. The point of life is to experience the excitement of discovery, joy of achievement, and wonder of mystery. The point is to take delight in the surprises that constantly come our way.

Simply put, the point of life is to enjoy it; that is, to live IN JOY.

Since we cannot give away what we do not have, it is important that we meet our own needs first. Ultimately, however, the reason for enjoying life is to make the lives of others enjoyable.

George Eliot (pseudonym of Mary Ann Evans Cross, 1819 ~ 1880) wrote, "What do we live for; if it is not to make life less difficult to each other?"

There is no point to life.

We were all born for no reason. You will life for 70 yrs and then you will die. There is no afterlife or a supreme being looking over you.

There is no difference whether you die today or tomorrow because you will not be conscious in death. You will not be aware of anything going on since you will return to nothingness.

Who really knows? I feel like we are all just small grains of sand in a giant hour glass. The hour glass represents time, while the upper half is life and the lower part is death. time, perhaps is the basis of life, and there is nothing we can do to keep it from moving forward.

there is not one. and there are many. each person has their own reasons for existing. some exist for the good of humanity, some for the natural world, some for themselves and some make good fertilizers in the end and nothing more. each person must either exist or find a point to their life and move in that direction. it is entirely personal i believe.

Life has no "point", any more than potatoes, chalk or rhinoceroses have a "point"! Why would it need one?

It does have a purpose, however, and that is to perpetuate itself!
