Keith got it right, the Paleozoic Era, but he also provided you with a lot of wrong information. The "jurassic (sic) is a sub period". Wrong! It is one of the three periods in the Mesozoic Era. The "carboniferous (sic) is not an actualy period". Wrong! The Carboniferous Period is recognized in Europe but in the United States it is subdivided into the Mississippian and Pennsylvanian Periods. The "mesozoic (sic) is the most recent time period which you are living in". Wrong! You are living in the Cenozoic Era, which was preceded by the Mesozoic Era, which is when the dinosaurs ruled the Earth.

Also, GatorGal got the right answer, but gave you some wrong information. The "Jurassic: lasted from 210 to 70 ma (140 my)". Wrong! The Jurassic Period lasted from 180 ma to 135 ma (45 my). The "Carboniferous: from 360 to 286 ma (74 my)". Wrong! The Carboniferous lasted from 405 ma to 280 ma (125 my). The "Paleozoic: from 542 to 252 ma (290 my)". Wrong! The Paleozoic Era lasted from 570 ma to 230 ma (340 my). The "Mesozoic: from 208 to 146 ma (62 my)". Wrong! The Mesozoic Era lasted from 230 ma to 65 ma (165 my). I couldn't remember the exact dates, but I knew they were wrong just by looking at them.
