How can I trust people? Everytime I tell someone something and tell them its between us. They always tell sum1

Like I have a hard time trusting people b/c they always go back a tell other people. What should I do to trust people.

I have this problem all the time. People who I thought were my good friends that I could trust have proven me wrong. Even if I tell them it's just between us and please don't say anything, they always do. It seems like when you tell someone that it's private info, they want to tell more people because they feel special for knowing confidential info about you or something. What I have done is told someone that I'm friends with, but anyone they would tell don't know me, so I would never know if they told anyone or not. It's people that you have mutual friendships with that you need to be careful with. People always tell secrets, that's the fun of it I guess..

You should make sure you've known that person for a long enough time in order to share private info. with them. Trusting friends are hard to come by, but the ones you know you can for sure trust are the ones who share with you also and will put their trust in you. It's really sad that trust is so rare. Be very careful who you tell and what you tell them:)

don't tell them everything. Only tell people what you wouldn't mind being found out. Secrets can be harmful.
