it sucks because they are just going to turn their stereos up louder.

One can only hope that it will result in their inability to get a job with sufficient wages to pay for a louder, more obnoxious stereo. Why they think that I want to listen to their loud-a@@ jungle music when I am in my home, office, or car is beyond me. I'm all for freedom of expression until it encroaches on my comfort.

If you want to drive around in a 30 year old POS car with big rims and little tires and fuzzy upholstery, great. But you should have to choose: noise pollution, visual pollution, or societal pollution, but not all three.

And if it's proven that your hearing deficiency is due to your loud-a@@ jungle music, then no government assistance. The only assistance you should have gotten is a citation for blaring the thing.

it would seem they already do, or they couldn't stand to have it so damned loud that with both our windows rolled up I can't hear the music in MY car.

I'd like to see a BIG, FAT tickets given out for those who drive around like that. you can't tell me those people can hear what's happening around them...it's very dangerous. I saw some moron in an SUV almost cause an accident because they didn't hear an ambulance that was screaming up the street.
