You are mistaking prudence for fear. Flamers have yet to plug in their common sense. A good example is the current herd in the Congress of the U.S. of A. They are trying their damndest to convince the population that they, the population, are stupid. An example: The Gonzales flare-up. Every one of the Secular Progressives know, absolutely know, they have no oversight over the Executive Branch. Does the term " ...separate but equal branches of the government." sound familiar? When it's all said and done, left wing politics is just a tool being used to destroy western civilization. It is meant to take away everyones money, guns, and rights so we'll all submit to the government. (That would leave whites unarmed and helpless against black rioters, which is why so many blacks, 89%, vote democrat)

Its not so much fear as resentment or hatred. The political left is renown for its hypocrisy and caustic social double standards. For example, the political left support forced busing for the intergration of public schools but from the safety of their all white suburbs; the political left support affirmative action as long as their jobs are not affected; the political left support high taxes as long as its the conservatives getting taxed.
The political left will enforce your right by rule of law for homosexual marriage, inter-racial marriage, women in combat roles, homosexuals in the military, non-elected judges telling you how to life your life, taxing the rich and ruling the poor, again as long as the political left are not affected by such decrees.

Over-regulation and tax hikes are indicators of the presence of the political left in your town, city, or state.
