The Mets are an inconvenience, nothing more. We actually don't even think that much about them. The Red Sox however, is a different story. The Red Sox fans were born to be harassed by Yankee fans. It's the American way!!

I'm a Red Sox fan and aside from the '86 World Series, I have nothing against the Mets.They have a great team.
One of my friends is a Yankees fan and he calls the Mets the "stinky Mets". But none of my other friends who are Yankees fans call the mets stinky
the greatest rivalry in baseball is obviously the Sox and the Yankees.

I don't talk about the Mets unless I am defending the Yankees from their childish insults and taunts. I am not a Met fan, and don't go out of my way to call them "stinky" or the "Mutts" or anything else. You do have to stick up for your team, and they love to dish it out as the Yankees are the big dogs in town.

Mets Rock People just hate both of them because they are rivals i mean really get over it last year the mets and the yankees had the same record 97-65 there both great teams but the mets are younger and have more talent.I could understand why the red sox and yankees dont get along because there division rivals.

No. It's always been the other way around. Yankee fans could care less about the "stinky Mets" that play in a place called Flushing, as in toilet.

All Yankees fans are morons, I can tell you that. I cant wait til they tear that dump a stadium down in the Bronx after next season, that place sucks, just like the team that plays there.

yes,the yankees might have power bats but the mets have speed on the basepaths and I would take it any day,try catching them.
