No individual can be singled out for India's debacle in the World Cup. It was collective failure of batsmen and bowlers which cost India dearly.

Poor planning.....we were beaten black and blue by west indies in west indies...that was the first wake up call given to the most elite indian cricket team...since then they didn't improve any of their weak points: batting, bowling, fielding....our team couldn't adopt to the west indies condition well as other teams did..thus the early exit...quite simple ahh?

You can't pinpoint specific players who were bad because it was our whole team that played miserably and lost! If you have to blame anyone it should be the whole team!
