Inserting the tampon doesn't hurt, but when I take it out, it hurts unless i sort of stretch my hymen around the tampon, and it is sometimes hard to do that. how come it hurts to pull it out unless i move the hymen around it? is that the easiest way to do it? i have to go slow and bring the tampon to just at the opening then stretch the skin around the tampon or it hurts to pull out.

Maybe the tampon isn't saturated enough with blood, try a different absorbancy. It shouldn't hurt at all to take out.

Well, from your questions, I have no idea what your age is. However, regardless of your age, perhaps you are using a tampon that is too large for you. There are different sizes, and not only sizes really, but absorbancies. Perhaps you are using an absorbancy that is too much. The larger the absorbancy, the larger tha tampon expands to while inside of you. (Such as, Super Absorbancy absorbs more fluid and, thus, becomes larger than say the Regular Absorbancy tampon.)

Additionally, perhaps you are using the incorrect absorbancy at the incorrect time during your period. (Are you using a more absorbant tampon so you have to change it less frequently and, thus, it is absorbing all moisture and has no slight lubricant moisture to help when you remove the tampon?)

Just a couple of things to think about. However, I could totally be wrong here.

i sorta had the Same problem @ 15. turned out the tampon wuz just TOO big & it wuz the SMALLEST size available n those days(lol). well now there's the tampax kind that r just as small as o.b. (a roll of DIMES) & they have an Applicator & they arent 2 expensive. also take a look @ the Diva cup. look it up on Yahoo! ive tried it & its Much easirer & less painful 2 remove.

it does hurt 2 pull it out... especially if ur a virgin becuz ur vaginal opening is smaller, i sugest u use a smaller sized tampon, or wear pads if tampons hurt u too bad, or wait a bit longer 2 take it out and let the tampon absorb more...if u recently started using them then it may take some time getting used 2 them

my best guess would be that the tampon has expanded due to filling up with blood.......this expansion would cause the tampon to become harder to take out than it was to put it due to the size increase
