Did you like the movie Little Miss Sunshine ? Or did you find it depressing?

I know I am behind the times but I rented it last night and I liked it more than I thought I would.

I thought that it was a little werid, but well worth renting it. I mean all the characters seemed so...real and the plot was magnificent. I think it was sad when the grandpa died but hilarious when they sneaked him into the back of the van and the girl told the people at the pageant that her grandpa was in the trunk! LOL! The most emotional part for me was when the boy found out he was color blind and he couldn't fly. He freaked out and I was crying. I felt so sorry and happy it wasn't real because he had given up talking for so long.... Even though there was a weak beginning, I think it ended well when the girl tarted doing stripper moves her grandpa had taught her! LOL! I hope this helps!

I am really behind the times. I have never heard of this movie. Maybe we should rent it together some time since you liked it so much.

I thought it was very uplifting- the family stuck together despite setbacks. I did find the grandfather character a little sad.

I thought it was very funny, and more true to life than a lot of films depicting families. That family definitely put the "fun" in dys"fun"ctional.

I liked it too. The subject matter was kind of dark, but I thought it was very funny overall.

I loved it! I loved the functional, dysfunctional family...isn't that what most families are?

i loved it...the whole plot and the dysfunctional family made it very interesting. my favorite part was when she was dancing hahaha
