About three days, when I was 17 or so. May have gotten away with it longer, but I had the good sense to be driving a car that had no inspection sticker and a giant hole in the muffler, audible to all patrol cars within roughly a two square mile area. Yep, I was a truly brilliant teen...

I have insurance, but I know someone who didn't have insurance for 3 years (and her car wasn't registered) and then moved to another state with no registration and no insurance!
