im wondering what happens when you go through the ezpass lane when you dont actually have ezpass? when they send you the ticket, does my insurance company or the DMV find out, or is this a disposable sort of thing where you pay the ticket and noone knows about it later. does it go on your driving or insurance record?

also when you have no cash for the toll booth, they bill you the toll....same questions as above for this.

can you explain this whole thing. thanks

They send you a bill and you pay it. It does not go on your driving record, because there is no way to know who was driving the car. The bill/ticket gets sent to the registered owner of the vehicle.

What state and what toll both did this happen in? If it was on one of the bridges in/around NYC, it could come from the TBTA or from the Port Authority. If it was on the Tappan Zee Bridge or the NY State Thruway, it would come from the Thruway Authority.
