The only person who thinks enough americans dont stick together as family and friends? and that infidelity is just a part of life, and that it should just be accepted that way. why is thier no women who seem to want romance anymore

You aren't the only one who feels this way. It may seem like it because it's not talked about very often.
People today are all for themselves and what they can get for themselves. People don't seem to care if they stay together as a husband and wife, nor as good friends anymore, because they only see what others have, that they want. When they can't have the things others have, people today tend to go away and stay alone or find friends that have less then they do.
It is a shame..... I want and need friends, so I can help them when they need help, and they can help me when I need help!

I call it the culture of discommunity. Old parents put in old homes and no visits, husbands and wives give up too quickly or utterly fail to compromise expecting too much, children with their dis-enchanted 'whatever' attitudes, brothers and sisters don't even bother to call each other and hence not knowing their own nephews/nieces/cousins etc., singles mull over dating, partying and careers hence prolonging a settled relationship with a spouse and relationships that be helping with real friends and family more often.
I know I've made it sound quite bad, but fact is at least two of the above examples is practiced currently in each American household. I have no answer for it and many psychs don't either.

I totally agree with you!! I am very "Old School" about alot of things, and I do still believe in romance, but this is not just a woman thing, see because my ex-husband was not the romantic type nor was he the "Faithful" type !! So much so, that I just want to be alone, until my kids are grown in 4 & 6 years, so that I can take my time and be very "Selective" in the dating departement.....and I only want a "Companion" someone to do things with, to court, you know.. I'm too scared of getting hurt again, that I simply just want a "Male Companion" to do things with, go to dinner, or take walks with, those sorts of things you know.. Smile!!! Great Question!!
