Your time and company. Are there chores that you could do for her? I have a friend whose children have a tradition of all turning up at their mothers in their gardening clothes on Mother's Day. The give her yard a good spring cleanup, spread bark-o-mulch, etc. Maybe you could detail her car or clean out the basement.
If the weather is good, take her on a picnic. You supply the food. Pay attention to her while you eat. Ask her about her youth, family history, or opinions of current events.
It's the attention and quality time that most moms would prefer over an expensive present.

A big hug and kiss, and something personal. Made with your own hands if possible. ( Moms love that ) They don"t care about the cost.
