You don't need to cut off a moulded plug, just pull out the cover between the pins. Fit a replacement 13 amp fuse and try the machine again. If it works it may have just been a 'tired' fuse. If it blows again or won't work, you will have to contact a repairer.

In a standard plug just replace the 13 amp fuse.In a moulded, plug between the live & neutral pins is a small cover prise this open and replace with a 13 amp fuse ( make sure the 13 amp fuse is a god one ) if it blows the fuse again you will have to call out an engineer. Ps in the W.M is full of water you can take out the drain hose from the waste outlet pipe & lay it in a washing up bowl to drain the W.M you can then get your clothes out

If it has blown a 13 amp fuse then there is almost certainly a fault which will blow any fuse you put in there.
I would seriously suggest you find someone who knows how to use a multimeter to take the back off, inspect the mains wiring and give it a check over.

if the fuse has blown, then there's probably a reason why it's blown, just replacing it may just make matter worse and you could do more damage if you continue trying to use the machine. Get an engineer to check the machine over.

yes the fuse is in the plug !!!! if it is a sealed plug ? you will have to change the plug as well for a normal one ,just cut the other one off and re/wire as you would with any other appliance !!
