I am one of 5 children. Advantages u always have someone to talk to. Disadvantages you have to share everything. I love my brothers and sister and when we are together its great. Luckily for us our parents never compared us and treated us as individuals. Never expect to have a lay in late on a Sunday morning and never expect to have a quiet dinner. But always be prepared for something new to happen.

I have 4 bros. and 4 sis.and it's wonderful. We now have children and grandchildren and what a great time we have when we are all together every summer for a reunion.
Growing up we were never bored as there was always someone around to play with or do things with and other than the odd tiff,we all got along well together and still do.
Growing up,we all had our chores to do but there was always time for fun too.Our parents taught us to be respectful and considerate to each other.
None of us have as large a family but all have at least three.
I would say the only thing to take into consideration is that it costs a great deal to raise a big family nowdays and educate them but if you can I think that would be wonderful.
I've never regretted coming from a big family and I wish you the best.God Bless.

I think too large is a familly is too much. I came from a large family and we are all distant. We wanted to go our own ways and are not close. My husband comes from a larger family and I say most of them are close. I guess it depends on how you "nuture" that family.
