Interesting post... Hello Friends, I am not a South Indian, North Indian, West or East India, but just Indian. As far as my residence is concerned, I have changed my state of residence so many times, that I do not know what to call myself. Reading all the problems that some friends faced in Western part of India or Northern part of India is mainly because of lack of knowledge and that is very normal. When you go to a new place you would not know much about that place. Like a friend did not find Idly in Ahmadabad, but their are at least 10 Udupy restaurants in the city, you have Annapurna, then you have several local restaurants serving south Indian dishes. And most of them are decade old. I used to face this problem 15 years back, when I did not have access to Internet, but today Indternet is very handy tool. It helps me to plan my trip in advance. I am sure the friend that had problems in Prayag, was unavoidable. I would not face it, because I have lived in that area for more than a decade, but anyone even from Hindi speaking states not familiar with that area will face that same problems. But if I am going to Delhi today, I would not use auto. I would use pre-paid taxi or I would use Bus-Trains. I would also look at the map the distance between the source and destination and understand if Auto fellow is asking me for unrealistic price. If I don't know the language, I would shop in supermarkets like cash and carry, food world etc, because they charge a little bit more but they do not cheat. You cannot bargain if you don't know the local language. It is possible that because I travel 15 days a month, I have learned my lessons. And that is what I am sharing with you all. Hope that helps.

one source is a search engine. the company website. registrar of companies will give you company details for a fee. if it is listed nse, bse sites will have some info. normally listing wont be available for manager, but will be available for others.
