No, cats do not really have nine lives. This saying began in early Egypt when cats were considered sacred. The Egyptians worshipped cats. The cats survived so many great falls unharmed, people began to say things like cats have nine lives. Cats do not really have nine lives.

Shoot your cat 8 times and if it still don't die then save the 9th shot cos it will defenitely die after that.

NO, CAUSE WHEN NIBBLES GOT RAN OVER AND HER HEAD CAME OFF, SHE NEVER CAME BACK TO ME. I EVEN TRIED TO OPERATE BUT I COULDN'T GET POOR NIBBLES BACK TOGETHER AGAIN!
