I used Dylon Wash and Dye, and only being half awake I tipped it into the wrong place. There's now dye sludge in the drawers of the machine which I can't get out completely.

Is anybody else an idiot like me and has done the same thing, who can tell me how long it will be before my whites are safe to go in and not come out grey (it was black dye....)!!

Try to place white vinager by running it or slowly pouring it into the drawers. As well do this in the main part of the washer as well.

Run a "dead" cycle--meaning your smallest amount of water--may as well just use cold water & run it through as a normal load.

I'd put in a rag & repeat the vinager, and the "dead" cycle until the rag is the color that you wish it to be--in this case not dyed.

Good luck.

Just put bleach into the draw after the cycle.

Don't use the Nirvana Album though.
