I had to stay up late to do it. Would it not be better to have the change in the middle of the day when people are awake?

Why on earth did you HAVE to stay up late to do it? Did the time monster hold a gun to your head? No!

I, along with the rest of the British population usually change our clocks either just before we are going to bed or first thing in the morning - and we've been doing it for years without problems!

You could have changed them at 10pm and it wouldn't have made any difference in the morning or you could have done them in the morning when you wake up. You don't have to stay up until 2am to do it.

You don't, just change them when it is convenient to your self after all if I told you to jump up and down at 3 in the morning would you?

you change it before going to sleep that's right... now if you are referring why at that exact time, I wouldn't know, it seems to me kind of useless to change the time at all, why 2 am??? no idea, because they want it, is kind of stupid since we in europe aren't saving any money out of this.

Erm?! You could have done it when you went to bed and you would not have known any different in the morning.
