i use the liquid Gain Joyful Expressions (Apple Mango Tango). I prefer this because it make my clothes smell really clean. I can still smell it on them even if I don't wear them for a long time. I have found that liquid detergent gets clothes cleaner, and it also creates less buildup within the washer. I also use the Gain fabric sheets.

I usually buy whatever is on sale. I like Tide or Cheer, but they're more expensive. I only use liquid. I've tried powder, but it never seems to dissolve completely. I always use a dryer sheet.

I use liquid because it's not as messy. I always use fabric sheets but I never use fabric softener.
