Calendars have changed over the years - Julian, Gregorian, etc. Different cultures record events in different ways.
Jesus was put to death after going to Jerusalem to celebrate the festival of the Passover. The Jewish calendar was calculated by observations of the new moon, with the Passover celebrated in the middle of the month when the moon was full.
Easter is calculated by being the Sunday after the "Paschal" full moon.
So, the date of Easter moves in accordance with the festivals and observances of the religion in which Jesus grew up.
It does make sense - really!

I'm not real sure how Easter work's "Calendar wise" but about every couple of years it falls on my grandaughter's birthday, and this year is one of them!! How cool is that, and her mother my Oldest daughter was born on Halloween!! How ironic, for them both to have holiday birthdays!!! Carley my oldest grandaughter will be turning 11, boy make me feel "Old why dont cha' Carley?!!" HaHa Just kidding!!! My grandbabies all make me feel pretty young on the contrary!! And when people find out I'm a grandma, there like: "What, you've got to be kidding?!!" Their shocked that I even have a 27 year old daughter, let alone a grandmother of 4!!! And proud of it, too!!!!
