HELP for my hero project

I believe that every society has heroes, and they like to believe in them so they can have somebody/something/some ideal to look up to. People desire an image to admire and fantasize about (not necessarily sexual): Boys grow up wanting to be Superman so they can save the day and get the girl. Girls grow up wanting to be Wonder Woman so they can show how tough they are and show that a woman can save the world.
Modern day heroes aren't always in comic books. After September 11th, firefighters and police officers became heroes. They showed the world how brave and selfless human beings can be, no matter what the danger may be.
