My old neighbors had a window covered and my current do as well. Foil covering the entire inside of the window.

To block out the sunlight. It's probably a day sleeper in that room. In Alaska during the long summer days it's common to see windows blocked with tin-foil. The sun sets at 1:am and rises at 2:30 am. It's a pain sometimes.

Usually to keep the light out..Or people from looking in to see whats happening. I have read it can change the t emper of the glass and it will break easier. Because it reflects the UV and heat back.

if it is just 1 or 2 windows it is usually to keep the sun out it reflects the sun and keeps it cooler in the room. If it is all the windows then probably hiding illegal activity.

ha ha, i'm hoping they have on hats! My boyfriends family participants is fantastically trashy, they try this sort of crap. warmth is often an argument here, while he reported placing foil in our domicile windows I advised him one human beings may be transferring out if it got here approximately.

Done it myself because I work the night shift and need to sleep during the day.This blocks out all of the light.

Its a really cheap, albeit ugly, way to block the sun!

this helps maintain a more consistent temperature in the house. often people who do this are trying to reduce their electric bills and want to reduce the use of their air conditioning and heaters, or they may not have them at all.

if done right it will block out all the light .ihave it in my bed room.
