Modern day hippies are probably too stoned and lazy to relaize that they smell. Also, when you don't work it's hard to afford water and soap.

We just can't stand to take off our tie die T-shirts, bell bottom pants, peace jewelry... and who is going to guard our marajuana while we are soaping up.
