i dont understand why everybody freaks about about this. its so easy. it just comes naturally. if you want to get into the specifics:

start kissing (mouth closed)
slowly start opening your mouth
depending on how comfortable you are with the person you are with, use your tounge and lightly brush it along either there lip(s) or top of their mouth. run it along their mouth or push their tounge to the back of their mouth.
start closing your mouth, then open again, if they are comforatable, they will do the same thing back.
use your hands to hold the other person. if you are a guy, good hand positions are on her waist, under her arms, or on her legs
if you are a girl ,put your hands around his neck or in his hands. he will move them where he wants them =P

the most important thing is to relax, and have fun with it. dont think, do...i promise its so amazing.
