For that question we can take several perspectives. Let’s start with the most basic.

Hitler had it in his head that the German people were the best "race" in the world. At the bottom of his social hierarchy were the Jews, and shortly above that the Slavs. (Eastern Europeans). He desired to create "living space" or "lebensraum" for his people by acquiring additional territory to the east... Poland, Russia, ect. This is how WW2 officially began; When Hitler invaded Poland Sept. 1, 1939.

He also wished to unify existing people he saw as German under his government. There were a lot of 'ethnic Germans' living in Austria and many parts of Czecklosovakia, sometimes referred to as the Sudetenland. He did indeed annex these territories prior to WW2 starting.

He also wanted to take back land lost and occupied by France (Alsace-Loraine) in western Germany. This land was where a lot of Germany industry had been, so loosing this land was somewhat damaging for the Germans.

Germany also had been pretty severely damaged by unrealistic penalties imposed on Germany by the Treaty of Versailles, which Hitler did a good job of getting around, but that's hardly relevant to Hitler's plans for WW2.

The rest gets kind of Hazy, and is open to wide debate.

The Holocaust for example. There are two areas of study within Holocaust studies. Some say it was specifically Hitler's intention to wipe out all European Jews. (Intentionalists).

Others say that "it just sorta turned out that way." Although Hitler advocated what eventually did occur in the Holocaust, it was the high ranking Nazi government that actually carried out the Holocaust. In short, this school of thought says that if you remove Hitler from the equation, the Holocaust still would have happened. (functionalist).

It's hard to know which side is right, although historians are still searching for a document that ties the Holocaust directly to Hitler. None have been found yet. Of course we know that he wanted to wipe out all European Jews based on what he said in his speeches and writings, but actual legal documents are difficult to come by.

Did Hitler want to dominate the entire world, or just acquire his "Lebensraum" for his people? Difficult to say. Supposedly he had ambitions to bring down the United States, but who knows.

To conquer Europe and then the world. He made many mistake's in this conquest. Fought the war on 2 fronts (east and West)., and made many decisions that were not very smart. (He was on the outskirts of Moscow about to take it over, then decide to turn the force towards Stalingrad, because Stalin was the leader and the city was named after him.!!) Hitler made some very poor decisions (Well actually allot!!!), but he actually secured his own demise.

Soviet Union troops as an entire have been neither elite nor properly knowledgeable - 50% of them lacked rifles till a mixture of heavy losses and Lend-lease kit from us of a and Britain arrived in adequate parts to even provide each soldier boots (that have been a concern request from Stalin while he grew to become into initially requested what the Soviet Union needed maximum while Lend-lease shipments began). If the Germans did no longer attack the Soviet Union in summer season 1941,that they had a huge military that would have been used someplace else, and if despatched to North Africa in adequate stress might have won the marketing campaign there, taking administration of the Suez Canal and beginning up conquest of the middle East and its oil materials.this could have been deadly to the Allies in WW2. So,on your venture,a Soviet military with out adequate rifles or maybe adequate boots, and with out Lend-lease shipments (which lined 10 million lots of strategic uncooked factors) is going to attack a German defense force with out gasoline issues, and no distractions on different fronts. There might in basic terms be one winner in this variety of venture, and it does no longer be the Soviet Union.
