You wouldn't want to stay with someone who you feel you can't depend on during hardships but at the same time, when you're going through a hard time that's when you feel you need them the most. So what do you do?

And by "not being supportive", I mean being distant/not making the effort.

Find someone who WILL support you. That line "In sickness and in health, for better or for worse" in the traditional marriage vow is about that, although in simpler, more elegant terms.

You need support and your partner isnt there. that sounds all to fermiluar and yes of corse it hurts to feel like they could care less but move on!

MAYBE YOU you could talk to him in a nice way that yyou need his support
