Because whoever wrote it is a poor lyricist, and they discovered that a five-letter word won't fit into a six-syllable gap, so they misspelt it for the sake of the song, at the expense of the poor old English language.

Much like the same person/band used footage of Tower Bridge in London, for a song called 'London Bridge'. Because it looks better/sounds better.

Yeah, this is the artwork of jebus... that's subej spelled backward... they are purely words (nicely, different than for jebus and subej!) that have stepped forward over the years into the English language. each and every observe would nicely be spelled backward... does not mean it has a secret which skill.
