I have tried looking online. My boyfriend had this plant here since I moved in with him but doesn't know what it is. I am curious. Here are the links to a couple pictures I have taken. One is a close up of the leaves, one is a picture of the whole plant.

That looks like a schefflera to me. (I grew up pronouncing it shif-FLUR-a.)

It's a pretty common houseplant, also called an 'umbrella tree', I think.

The first 2 answers are correct. It is a schefflera commonly know as a umbrella tree. Keep away from direct sunlight and don't water too often. Just make sure the roots don't get soggy. Nice plant. Does well on a covered porch, and away from late afternoon windows when inside. Morning sun is good.

I have one of these plants as well...Schefflera...Also known as umbrella tree, it is another tropical plant that, like the monstera, has burgeoned into popularity in recent years. it is a leafy plant, treelike in habit, and is fine in floor planters or tubs in its taller sizes (four, five, six feet). Schefflera is an easily grown plant, offering no problems, thriving even in poor light and dry atmosphere. Soak the pots thoroughly, then allow the soil to become quite dry before watering again.
