Darker. It was getting light at about 6am here, but now it's 7am.

But hey, it's gone 7pm and still light! Brilliant.

It will be darker in the mornings for a few days, as we moved the clocks forward a whole hour. However, as the days get longer, you'll find it starts to get lighter earlier and earlier. In the middle of summer it's starts to get light about 3.30am in the morning.

I love the light nights though! It's half seven in the evening and still sunny! I LOVE IT!

You need to remember that time is not an absolute, so the number 5 AM or 6 AM are not the actual absolute number it is only a lable we use so we are all speaking of the same point in time.
you would get the same result if it were call 'A' and an hour later called 'B'
So if the sun rises at 5:00 Am and I set my alarm to go off at 5:00 Am this means my alarm will go off whn the sun is rising.

Now if I set my alarm one hour later, and since I cannot physically change the sun rise, this means 5:00 is now 6:00. So it means that sunrise, which was 5:00, will now show as 6:00 on my clock. So setting the clock ahead by one hour will mean it will remain dark for one hour longer than it was before ... according to my clock.

Moving ahead an hour delays sunrise an hour and postpones sunset one hour. Think of getting up at 6 am now, before the time change would have been 5 am and still dark. Similarly, the sun used to set at 7 pm before the time change, now sets at 8 pm becauase we are an hour ahead. Hope that's clear, it's always confused me.
