I've always had that issue too, where I feel like living another person's life would be a lot easier than my own because my problems are so much more complicated. The simple fact though is that everyone falls short of their own expectations, and everybody has unresolved problems that will never be fixed. Part of being a mature person is understanding what you can change and what you can't, and adjusting your life accordingly. This also goes with the understanding you can't be perfect. So whatever your problems may be, you just have to keep trying to chip away at what's wrong in your life and not expect to fix your problems in an hour.

1; You're too occupied with other people's problems that you don't see your own until it's too late to solve them.
2; Solving other people's problems is easy enough - you can keep an objective nature towards it. Solving your own makes yourself involved and so you cannot possibly stay objective.

Perhaps you can make two work for one. Let's say you are solving a friends problem look for the common factor in his problem in comparison to yours; remember what it was you did for him and apply it to your problem.
Basically all I can really say is to stop running away from your problems. Sit down and face them head on, if you have to battle it out, so be it. Why? Well the answer is easy you are sick and tired of having problems.

You can, but it is more difficult because it is you... it is more personal. The problems seem bigger for yourself while with others you are not as emotionaly distraught.
It is like asking an surgeon to perform medical surgery on himself or even a family member. It'd be pretty tough (either physically or psychologically... or both).
If you work hard enough, you can fix your problems, but it just takes a bit more effort and a lot more not-giving-up.

Because with your own problems you do not see objectively and without emotion. It is easier to tell someone what to do than to change ones self. Mmm

Hmm.. you know, I'm really good at giving advice too.. but I'm really bad with myself.. I think it's cause our emotions get in the way.. so we can't think with a clear head... we're so trapped in the problem that we can't see how to get out of it.. it's like being in a maze, you know? You have to see it from above to find your way out.. or remember your mistakes and stuff.. to learn to find a way out. We can't see it from above, but a lot of us learn from our mistakes.. :) Okay I'm having a mental block.. I was gonna say something else but I forgot what it was.

The same reasons why wise doctors see other doctors about their own health instead of 'self-medication'. Sometimes we do not see ourselves in true light. Our opinions of ourselves are not always accurate.
