Still, the JV fuulbacks who are going to be lead blocking you are going to be +30 pounds and have a head of steam. Strong Safety is a better position for you, form what you listed there. It is basically a linebacker who sometimes gets split out onto coverage (alot of tight ends).

Yeah for fifteen 163 pounds i beleive is fantastic size for a 15 year old linebacker..I played linebacker this year and i was pretty much a stud...and im no were near your height i am 5'4 146 and i was very good at out side linebacker... so yeah i beleive you are at good size for a 15 year old and ya theres still a chance for you to grow...

well the weight is my main concern. You can be a good high school and D-1AA linebacker at 5'10''. Drink your protein. You can't control your height and you have to realize that, as much as these people seem to think that you can. Just eat and work out and by varsity year you should be about 190 and that is good enough.

The weight and height are fine. Just make sure that most of your weight comes from muscle, and if that is the case with you, then you should be OK. When you get to varsity try to get to about 185-190, and about 6'2
