what can i do when i want to enter a wimming pool when i have my menses

Don't go for swimming these days. But if you have to go use tampon.

Wear tampons [www.tampax.co.uk]. The slim ones with the plastic applicator seem best for you, if it's your first time.
Always read the instructions.
Using tampons is related to a condition called TSS [Toxic Shock Syndrome] which can kill you if you don't take procautions. Use the least absorbant tampon required to meet your needs and never leave a tampon in for over 6-8 hours. Also, never use them while you're not on your period [only use them when on your Period.]

Take a shower and clean the area good, use a heavy duty tampon, ware red swim suit or bikini.
Or avoid the swimming during heavy flow (not an option for a competitive swimmer practising for any meets).

plz dont enter the pool-wait a coupla days when ur clean and fresh--u will think better instead of worrying--wud it show? wud I bleed?what if the pool changed a bright red--changed into the red sea--lol so have patience and wait till ur period is over-thank U /god Bless

I like to use a tampon. WHATEVER YOU DO.. don't use a pad! It will swell up and make you look and feel ridiculous. I actually like going swimming when i'm on my period.. I find it very comforting for cramps. Good luck!
