The outfit consists of brown slacks and a brown blouse with dark samon accents. The necklace I'm wearing matches the samon in the shirt with an antique gold pendant. The shade of brown is the new dark brown seen everywhere in stores right now.

YES other wise you will look like a big brown turd!!! Dont be afraid of color that is what makes the outfit....fab shoes of course...all these people telling you no need to pick up the next issue of in style magazine!!! I wouldnt go with cream though try a samon pair or a totally different color of brow so it wont look so matchy matchy like a k-mart add

It might be easiest to just post a photo of the outfit since it's hard to envision how all these are coming together. Brown and cream defn. work together... it's the salmon I'm wondering whether works with the cream and brown together. You might just want to go with a slightly darker shade of brown shoes so as not to complicate the color mix you've got going.

i don't think i would. i'd find some brown shoes i think.
and if you want them to have more of spring feel..........i'd find something strappy or a sandal.
