People are truly ignorant, and it's that "I don't give a damn" attitude that allows people like Bush - and Congress - to get away with the horrendous things they do. -RKO-

Many people lead very hectic lives and they assume their elected officials are doing the jobs for which they were elected or assume all polliticians are crooked so it does not make a difference who is in office. Between these two points are view are many variations of beliefs. Bush has some very good PR behind him in the form of Karl Rove. Unfortunately this has allowed him to fool a lot of people for a long time. Bush and company will probably go down as the worst president in US history and it will take this country many years to recover from the damage his decisions have created.

Are people ignorant or brain dead when they think that Hillary Clinton could do anything that would make the country in a better state? Why don't people look at the good that he has done. Unemployment rate is at an all time low. The economy is doing well and there hasn't been a terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11. Sounds good to me.

People are not ignorant but appears to be stupid to what Bush is doing to our country by gullibly believing that his action in Iraq and in other matters is enhancing the pride of this country.

Isn't that they are stupid, is that many are to lazy to think and act by them selves. Some people vote for politicians for them to do the whole thinking and because they don't want to do it they support these kind of politicians blindly, like robots. Because people like that, weak minds, the twin towers aren't where they used to. Blind people who let others think for them and they do what ever is told to them to. The same thing is happening with so many blind ones over here, if Bush tell them stand up up side down they do it without thinking about the consequences.

First, your question does not present a choice. You simply stated your myopic perspective two different ways.
Secondly, I suspect that the ignorance is in the fact that we are not demanding a faster more awe-inspiring response to threats to our sovereignty. Sadly, it's because of people like you that we are no longer the mighty nation we once were.
Men risked being tried and convicted and hanged for treason by founding this country. Now we pander to every whining minority interest and have completely forgotten the sacrifices which made us great.

I'm not ignorant to it. I'm just totally amazed he's still
getting away with his cronyism.
Seems to me, his plan is to make this "The United
Corporations of America".
He wants his type to flourish while making the rest of us
as invisible as possible. Well, that is, in his mind.
Absolute power corrupts & he is corrupted, absolutely.
