Im having some tan discharge. today is the first day I noticed it. Im on Depo Provera and I know that it is made to make ur body think its pregnant. now i read that women sometimes have a tan discharge around the time they would have their period when they are pregnant. could this be from depo? would the depo make a pregnancy test come out positive?

Being on Depo Provera will not yield a positive pregnancy test result.
Spotting (light menstrual bleeding) is a common side effect of Depo. Perhaps that is what you mean by tan discharge? If so, that is completely normal. However if the discharge has a foul odor or if you are experiencing other symptoms (itching, pain, etc) as well, it would be best to visit your gynecologist.

Discharge is really quite common. I've had problems with it my whole life. The thing that worries me is that you say it is tan. Normal discharge should be white or real light yellow. Tan suggests that there may be blood in it. Go to your GYN doctor and have them check for infection. As far as the depo causing it, I'm not sure, but I wouldn't think so. From what my doctor told me, discharge is nature's way of "cleaning up". You may want to check into the side effects of depr further. I hope you get to feeling better. And don't worry so much, hun.
