Cook for a private family, wow, she must be good. She should charge according to her experience. If she is an experienced cook(chief) then she should make at least 10.00 an hour. Depends on what her duties are. Just cooks only and doesn't do dishes or serve. Does she do parties and evenings or days; these things should be taken into account. At any rate I say at least the ten dollars per hour. One can do alot of work in one hour. Maybe charge by the job, depending on the difficulty of the meal.

Well, a normal restaurant cook should probably earn around $20 per meal, but that isn't the case, because they are paid by the hour (i just gave a per-meal estimate).
Well, if she is the only cook for the family, i would expect maybe at least $150 per meal, because if she's a private cook, it must be pretty darn important. If she isn't and there's maybe one other person, she should still earn at least $80 per meal

depends on the type of cooking and if there are other dutied. Also the area in which the family live. Around £5.50 to £7.00 per hour.

well the cook where i am gets paid 6.95 per hour. do the maths
Sveb B I am answering in british pounds!!! Not american dollars!!! and note per HOUR so it's 30 times 6.95 = 208.50 per week

well minimum wage is around £5.20 to £5.75 so i would assume she should get the miimum wage .
