I live in Dallas Texas and I've noticed a light looking yellowish powder substance all over the surface of my sky blue Camery. Anyone know what it might be? I've seen it on other vehicles also in the last few days. Do you live somewhere else and have it on your car too?????

Yes, I live near Houston, Texas. What you are seeing is tree pollen. First the elm, then pine then oak. The trees will be finished shedding their pollen in a few weeks.

Yep---its gotta be pollen. From trees & flowering trees/plants. I live in Charlotte, NC---we are just beginning to get the pollen everywhere. It last for a few weeks. It easily washes off everything------but will come back over the next few weeks. If you have allergies----good luck.

It sounds like pollen. We have a blue car too, but certain times of the year it turns as pretty a yellow as you could wish for!
