Will something happen if I leave my gasoline container outside, like in the shade. Also how do you get the gas smell to go away?
Thx

That smell is the gasoline itself, and you won't get it to go away completely.
As for storing the fuel in a container, if you intend to store it for only a few days, it will be fine.
If you plan to store it longer, it would be very wise to add a fuel stabilizer (one brand name is STABIL), and follow the instructions on the container. This will help reduce the effects of the oxidizing of the fuel.
