I play for a travel team and i have two practices a week for two hours and a tournament around every other weekend. What is it that i can do to become a better basketball player and stay fit and healthy to play?

Depends on age. If you are young then run for at least an hour a day if you dont have practice. Upper body work out your shoulders and arms, for lower body do some minor leg work. Squats and lunges are really good to start. Abs are very important and a key, work the core part of your body.

Cardio....run..at least 2 miles....2X a week....wieght train...
most important....work on your weaknesses...when you have time...learn to make your off hand as strong as your primary hand!.......and don't forget to eat right!..

eating right is very important...like someone el'se above me said.....DISCIPLINE!
