Yes, it is. Caches are merely copies of data designed to improve performance. Simply right-click on the cache and delete it. Or, if it is a browser cache, just use the normal method - tools -> clear private data.

Yes, it is. It's also a good thing to clear up your PC from time to time. However, you will loose your browsing history and other information like IDs/passwords you have kept by doing so.

If using IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Delete browsing history.
If using Firefox, go to Tools, Options, Advanced, Networking, Cache (Clear Now)

mostly all caches are just previous site you visited or were rerouted to,just bookmark what u want 2 keep and delete them.good luck.try the free trial of SYSTEM MECHANIC 6 OR 7,IT IS AN EXCELLENT PROGRAM TO CLEAN AND SPEED UP YOUR MACHINE!!!! HUCK
