14..must be your first years having your period. Well it takes a year for your menstrual cycle to get in tune with your body. However it isn't safe that it is lasting a month. That could progress to serious problems such as anemia. Have your mom take you to the doctor. Yet this is another problem that can easily be fixed by birth control. Talk to your mom and doctor about it.

Sometimes when girls begin their periods their hormones, which trigger menstruation are having a hard time adjusting. More than likely you need to take iron supplements and perhaps the doctor needs to put you on birth control pills to adjust your periods. Birth control pills are a hormone and you have days that you take one color pill and you don't have a period then there is another one you take during your period. These pills will help regulate your cycle and don't have to be permanently taken unless you are sexually active and need them. It isn't necessarily normal, most periods last 3-7 days, but since you are so young and new to this you need to talk to a doctor. I know it is annoying!

that happend to me when i was about 16. your hormones are acting crazy, trying to level out and whatnot. i might go a head and try to visit with a doctor about this. you may need to be put on birthcontrol to regulate your period. bleeding for that long may cause you to become anemic and very weak as a result. good luck

It isn't normal but it isn't uncommon. See your doctor, because it could be hormone imbalance. But at your age, your hormones act crazy anyway, so I guess you should expect anything.
See your doctor as soon as possible, because it could be a sign of a underlying problem, which needs medical attention.

Hope you're okay.

That isnot normal. You need to go see a doctor now. You will be pretty anaemic by the time you are through.
