Is the oyster cellphone by virgin mobile a good pay as you go phone?

I need to get a pay as you go phone for my son (hopefully for around 20-30$) and I was wondering if I should go with the virgin oyster or the 2126 nokia tracfone.

I bought that phone for my daughter and she loves it.
It only cost $20 and she only spends about $15 a month. It is also pretty durable she has dropped it many times and nothing has happened to it. I would definitely recommend it
