I need to raise £1000 as soon as possible. I am at full time college and I have a child so I cannot work at the moment. Anyone know of any ways (any at all) that I could try and raise this? If it involves drugs forget it but I will do pretty much anything else to raise this money. Please help.

Alot of the time we get confused between needs and wants. Are you sure you really need it? Seems a bit desperate and you may get some unpleasant offers.
Consider what talents you have and also what things you can exchange for cash, eg. valuables etc. There is always ebay, to sell them, of course.
Be wary of meeting anyone off the internet who wants to give you money.

I'm assuming you are young. So I do have a suggestion for you. I'm a single mother myself and have been in a tight situation before. There are many men out there who are more than willing to help a young woman out financially in exchange for a relationship. These are usually older businessmen who simply like younger women and don't have time to play games. Most of them aren't total pigs and they really do want to see you have a better life. They'll wine and dine you and take you shopping, pay your bills, etc. The easiest way to find one would be to look on Craigslist.org.
Please be sure to meet them in a public place at first and thereafter, be sure you have told at least one person where you will be and who you are with, just to be safe. And please please, do not allow him around your child until you are absolutely comfortable with the idea. This is not only because you can never tell who is a pervert and who isn't, but because you don't want you child to get attached since most of these kind of relationships are not permanent.
On a side note, you say you can't work because you are in school and have a child. I have managed to go to school and work and care for 2 children. Many women have. So don't use that as an excuse. If you simply don't want to work right now, be honest.

MONEY ... dont do escourt work or lap dances or date old men, you are degrading yourself and you are better than that!
what is the money for?
1/ ask family and friends for a small loan 10 people may lend you 100 bucks each
2/ negotiate with the person you need to pay - arrange a longer term
get someone to babysit for you and waitress at night
sell off things you dont need

Are you sure you cannot do without that money?
Any job will pay you £1000 in a couple of months. If you really want it quickly, consider lap dancing or escort work. But you will be meeting some very selfish men who will leave you cynical and scarred. You deserve better. Good luck.

There is always time to work if you really need to... can't your parents looks after your child while you work at a supermarket in the evenings and weekends? Also, sell some of the old baby stuff you have on e-bay?

you could 'work from home' but beware of schemes that require money up front.
failing that have a look around the house to see if there's anything that could go to a local auction house

Students have several options.
Go to the financial aid office and see what options they have available for you. You may be able to swing a small grant, to be used for whatever you need.
