Simple. Israel is not as much a threat to use them. Iran has already promised to use them on Israel. Iran is the aggressor in the region, not Israel. Enough of your moral equivalence crap.

Well its really quite simple. Israel is not a terrorist state, which they have shown by having the weapon and not using it even though they probably have some reason to do so. Iran on the other hand would like nothing more than to set off a nuclear weapon in the heart of the U.S or in the heart of Israel. I don't think anyone is telling Iran it can't have nuclear power, the problem is once they get that they will spend their time trying to develop nuclear weapons would be a very scary turn of events. But these are just a couple of the reasons why Iran cannot have the weapons and Israel can. Thanks and have a nice day.

The thinking behind it is because if Israel didn't have nuclear power they would not exist. Iran would still exist without nuclear powered weapons

Because Israel and the United States are forever shackled to each other .. and in that respect, whatever Israel wants, Israel gets.
In fact, right now, in this very moment, Israel is much stronger and is more a powerhouse than the United States.
But to your question, there is a simple analogy. The U.S. is infamous for calling other countries "rogue". Yet the world no longer looks upon the United States as it once did. We too have nukes. History tells us that we are the ONLY country to have ever used a nuclear bomb. We are a bigger threat to ourselves than we are to others. Why? Because we think we are invincible. Wrong.
And as for another following post. Many no longer believe in a so-called "Chosen people". As with other questionable biblical writings, the claim is more myth than fact.

Yes !! Israel can have Nuclear power though even they are giving troubles to their neighbours and much less than Iran .Israel is God chosen as well US chosen nation so obviously they can have !

Every country with nuclear power MUST be responsible enough to NOT use it.
To have a country who has announced, repeatedly, to the world that a specific area of the world should be 'wiped off the face of the earth' with nuclear weapons is like keeping a wild animal as a pet....YOU'RE GOING TO REGRET IT!!

I don't think we really wanted Israel to have a nuclear weapon either, but they do and we can't do anything about that now.

What's even worse is that Britain is pontificating about how nukes make the world a more dangerous place, and we should prohibit more countries from having them, blah blah blah, and then we go ahead and renew our own nuclear missles, and break the non-proliferation treaty. Hypocrites or what?

Israel is not threatening to wipe out entire populations, as are the Arabs.
Also, understand that the "countries" in Arabia are not ideological regions. All Arabs agree on wiping out Jews and Americans.
